Apple retail executive calls Apple Store the most valuable product
Despite many criticisms, Apple's retail director Angela Arendz is still meticulous in carrying out her duties. "I think retail stores are Apple's greatest product ever," and Angela made no secret of her praise for the Apple Store. She believes that the loyalty of retail clerks is also very important. The retention rate of Apple retail clerks is as high as 87%, which is very proud of them. You know, the average retail clerk retention rate in the US is only 20%. Angela also mentioned Apple Store 2.0, she said that Apple will open another 95 new-generation retail stores before the end of this year.
At the summit, Angela also shared interesting stories about how she entered Apple. When Cook first found her, Angela also tried to convince Cook that she was not the best candidate for Apple's retail director, so she came up with an idea that she thought was incredible, and wanted to let Cook give up on her. The idea was: Integrate Apple retail and online stores. However, Angela was surprised that Cook liked the idea and finally brought her to Apple.
